Is Blue Berry™ the same as the bilberry product?
No, Blue Berry™ is an exclusive formula combining the high concentration of blueberry extract with 6 mg lutein per daily dose. The formulation is further fortified with eyebright and grape seed extracts.
What is lutein?
Lutein is a natural pigment found in the macula of the eye. Although lutein is a natural part of a daily diet when fruit and vegetables are consumed, the ‘average western diet‘ is somewhat deficient in containing between 1 and 3mg of lutein a day. Supplementing lutein can therefore be a useful way of maintaining clear and bright eyes.
Lutein can also be provided by eating green leafy vegetables.
